A list of Mary's books from Alibris...

Alibris: Mary elting

Mazel Linowitz

The Christmas Open House in Roosevelt was more than a warm sharing...it was a welcome to their home and hearts as well. Our children were quite young at the time but still recall the delight of being invited into the library and told to choose any book that either Mary or Dank had written. They still have most of those precious gifts and treasure them. I am still in awe of the Christmas tree that sported real lit candles! Those days have remained an indelible part of our lives. I wish there had been more.

Ruth Nadler Barth

I am the daughter of Milly and Nat Nadler. We lived in Roosevelt until I was 20. Then I got married and my parents moved to Princeton, NJ. I married Mazel and Alex Linowitz's nephew. They just wrote a little about Mary to you. Well, anyway, my mother, Mil, used to work for Dank. Among other things, she typed 3x5 cards to go into his extensive filing system. And unbeknowst to him, I helped. I think this was my first job. I sat at a non-electric typewriter and pounded away until I had earned my $2 an hr. I also remember Dank and Mary's Christmas parties. They were so wonderful, especially for someone who knew very little about celebrating Christmas. Their house was filled with joy, gifts, candy, food, people. What an explosion of fun. Mazel has kept me posted regarding Dank and Mary's wonderful life. You had wonderful parents.
